The question is, when will ArenaNet start posting a list of said changes? Hmm...

Considering Guild Wars went gold before its release, I would guess a lot more than that.

help please!!!
hello, after reading this little message that came on my screen i followed its directions. It said please relog and run the program again because a new build is out. Well once i logged back on the same character i was immeditly disconnected the whole page just shut down and a message came up asking me to send an error report to the guild wars web site, so I did. Any suggestions on how i can play again?

Did this update have anything to do with sound?
Cause all of the sudden, i have no sound, and I'm getting a "Bad DirectSound" error.

As I do the math, the crash was reported at 1436 hours and the fix was implemented by 1457 hours, based on forum post time tags. I will guess the first few crashes were somewhere around 1430 hours. (All times in this post CST)
That tells me that Arena.net detected (or was advised of) and corrected the "oops" within about a half an hour. That's not bad, considering how things work in the IT world in general.
The promises, pre release, made about the advantages of being able to put multiple patches/fixes out in a given day seem to have been backed up by performance.
Well done, although it was frustrating to have things go "tilt" when I logged on to play at 1439 hours today.
Someone up there suggested considering the time of day and play density for promulgating patches, and I'd have to agree. Weekends // game time are not plentiful for everyone.

can you download the new patch seperatly? Because it doesn't seem to download correctly for me. The process gets stuck, and I can't kill/terminate it.

i fixed it...
For all those that are having problems with gw.tmp, all you have to do is remove your gw.exe, and rename gw.tmp to gw.exe...it will run, and update.
Also, my login screen is wayyyyyyyy off center.
